DD-Arunprabha was launched by Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi in Itanagar, the Capital of Arunachal Pradesh on 9th February, 2019 as 24th satellite channel operated by Doordarshan. It is equipped with state of art facilities, including a Digital Satellite News Gathering unit to provide live coverage from remote locations, for 24X7 telecasts. The channel strives a break a new grounds in providing entertainment and information in a contemporary fashion. The channel will showcase the rich tradition and diversity of local culture.
